Candidate Training

As recommended in the DWCF Strategic Plan, DWCF is now holding DWCF Candidate trainings across Florida for those who are thinking about becoming a Democratic candidate and for those who want to aid with the campaigns of Democratic candidates.   2017  training dates to be announced. 


Thanks go out to Dianne Williams Cox (DWC of Capitol City) who is Chair of the Candidate Training and Mentoring Committee for all her efforts in bringing the trainings to fruition. We also want to thank the very committed and diligent members of her committee.

Thank you Mary Higgins (DWC of Palm Beach), Cynthia Chestnut (DWC of Alachua) and  Linda Levine (DWC of Indian River) for spearheading DWCF Candidate Trainings in your area.

The DWCF Candidate Training and Mentoring Committee was formed as a recommendation of the DWCF Strategic Plan to provide training and mentoring to candidates and campaign teams.

Candidate training include information for message development, GOTV, financing the campaign and so much more informatin.  Training sessions have been held throughout Florida and attendance has been really great.  Anyone wishing to host or have information about training in their county or in their area of the state should contact Dianne Williams-Cox at
